Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 24, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at glphelper.com (the “Website”), operated by C1V Technologies Inc. (“C1V,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Wyoming corporation doing business as GLPHelper. C1V provides management services organization (MSO) and related business functions in support of physician-directed weight-management and telehealth services.

C1V Technologies Inc. has its principal place of business at: 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

Clinical care, where applicable, is provided by independent, licensed physicians (including Dr. Fahad Akhtar, MD). Those medical providers are responsible for clinical care and for the Notice of Privacy Practices that governs patient health information in the clinical context.

For privacy questions related to this Website, contact us at: privacy@glphelper.com.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs information we collect through the Website only — including lead forms, contact requests, informational pages, and any website-based tools made available to visitors.

This Privacy Policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (“NPP”). If you are or become a patient of a medical provider you are connected with through the Website, a separate NPP governs how your Protected Health Information (“PHI”) is handled in the clinical context. Please request a copy of that NPP directly from the practice.

3. Definitions

  • “Personal Information” means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to a specific individual.
  • “Protected Health Information” or “PHI” has the meaning set forth in 45 C.F.R. § 160.103 and applies only to information created or received in connection with healthcare operations as a Covered Entity or Business Associate.
  • “Visitor” means any person who accesses the Website without submitting a lead or contact form.
  • “Prospective Patient” means a Visitor who submits a contact or lead form expressing interest in physician-guided weight-management services.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with the Website, you may provide:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number
  • General health or wellness goals submitted through lead or intake forms (e.g., weight-management interest, general health history)
  • Consultation or contact requests submitted through our forms

We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

4.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (city/state level)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Pages visited, time on page, and referring URLs

4.3 Information We Do Not Knowingly Collect Through This Website

  • We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or financial account numbers through this Website.
  • We do not collect biometric data.
  • We do not collect precise geolocation data.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and connect you with a licensed medical provider or its staff
  • Facilitate or coordinate consultation requests
  • Communicate with you about services, updates, or follow-ups you have requested
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Website
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, or technical issues

6. How We Share or Disclose Information

6.1 Medical Providers

C1V may share information you provide (including lead and contact form submissions) with the independent, licensed medical provider(s) you ask to be connected with, for the purpose of facilitating physician-directed weight-management services. Where C1V acts as a Business Associate of a HIPAA Covered Entity, this sharing is governed by a Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”).

6.2 Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers acting on our behalf, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel
  • Database and backend: Supabase
  • Other vendors as needed to operate the Website, each bound to use information only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable law

6.3 Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

6.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information we hold may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy commitments described in this Policy.

6.5 What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.
  • We do not rent or lease personal information to unaffiliated marketers.
  • We do not share health-related form data with advertising platforms for ad targeting.

7. HIPAA and Health Information

Clinical care is delivered by independent, licensed medical providers who are HIPAA Covered Entities. To the extent C1V Technologies Inc. creates, receives, maintains, or transmits PHI on behalf of such a provider, it does so as a Business Associate under a Business Associate Agreement and in accordance with applicable HIPAA rules (45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164).

Scope limitation:Not all information collected through this Website constitutes PHI. A general inquiry submitted through a lead form — for example, a name and email indicating interest in weight-management services — may not be PHI depending on context. This Policy governs non-PHI website data. PHI, if any is transmitted through the Website, is governed by the applicable BAA and the medical provider’s Notice of Privacy Practices.

8. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking Technologies

We use website analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Website and to improve performance and user experience. We do not transmit health-related form submissions to advertising platforms for ad targeting. Where required by law, non-essential cookies (including analytics and advertising cookies) are subject to your consent.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website may use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Website to function. These cannot be disabled.
  • Performance/analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Website. Non-essential.
  • Functional cookies — remember your preferences or settings.

You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

10. Data Retention & Security

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law, whichever is longer. Lead and contact form data that does not result in a clinical relationship is retained for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and vendor security reviews — designed to protect personal information. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

11. Children’s Privacy

This Website is intended for adults aged 18 and older, and weight-management services are provided to adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

12. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and receive a portable copy of your information

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Marketing communications: if you provide your email or phone number, we may send transactional messages (e.g., confirming your inquiry) and, with your consent, marketing messages. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or by contacting us at privacy@glphelper.com.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

13. International Users & Third-Party Links

This Website is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., be aware that information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country. The Website may contain links to third-party websites or embedded tools; this Privacy Policy does not apply to those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Website after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
